Before you brew

  1. Soak the cloth filter in warm water, then hook its chain to the bottom of the upper chamber.
  2. Seat the upper chamber once the water in the lower bowl boils. Start the timer when the water has risen.

    Stir three to five circles, then lower the heat just enough to keep the water up.
