1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These Terms govern your access to and use of the app and its related services.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must use Sign in with Apple to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and access credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Description of the Service
The app allows users to:
- Add and manage coffee beans in a personal library
- Create brewing recipes (including dose, grind size, yield, roast date, and notes)
- Upload photos
- Search for beans manually or by scanning images
- Store grinder information
- Favorite, archive, and organize beans
- Receive recipe suggestions generated from aggregated user data
The app may evolve over time. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
4. User Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of any photos, images, recipes, notes, or other content you submit to the Service ("User Content").
License to Us
By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
We do not use your photos, images, or other User Content in marketing materials, promotional content, social media, website showcases, or app store listings.
User Content may be visible to other users of the Service as part of the app's features.
Your Responsibilities
You represent and warrant that:
- You own the User Content or have the necessary rights to submit it
- Your submission does not violate the rights of any third party
- The content does not violate any applicable laws
Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any User Content at our discretion if we believe it violates these Terms or applicable law.
Copyright Policy
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users of the Service to do the same.
If you believe that content available through the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice requesting removal of the content by contacting us at: support@tazzina.app
Your notice should include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- Identification of the content you believe is infringing
- Your contact information
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
We will review and respond to valid notices as required by applicable law.
Aggregated Data
We may aggregate and anonymize data across users to:
- Provide recipe suggestions
- Improve feature functionality
- Analyze usage trends
Aggregated or anonymized data does not identify you and is not considered your personal content.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
- Upload content you do not have rights to use
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Reverse engineer or interfere with the app's operation
- Use the app for unlawful purposes
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store data.
Authentication is provided through Apple Inc. (Sign in with Apple).
We use Mixpanel as a data processor for product analytics. Analytics data is collected in pseudonymized form and may be aggregated for analysis, used solely for product improvement. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time within the app.
Upon deletion:
- Your personal content (library entries, photos, notes, favorites, collections) is removed from active systems
- Authentication access is revoked
- Anonymized recipe parameters (grind settings, dose, yield) are retained to support community features
- Bean entries you created that have not been verified are retained anonymously
8. Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, software, text (excluding User Content), and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app without permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app and all recipe suggestions are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy of recipe suggestions
- That brewing outcomes will meet expectations
- That the app will be uninterrupted or error-free
Recipe suggestions are informational only.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for:
- Loss of data
- Brewing results
- Equipment damage
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or business interruption
Our total liability arising from your use of the app will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the app in the preceding 12 months.
11. Changes to the Terms
At our discretion, we may change these Terms of Use to reflect updates to our processes and operations. If we decide to change these Terms, we will post the changes here at the same link by which you are accessing these Terms of Use.
If the changes are significant, we will display a notice in the app to all our registered users with the new details and links to the updated or changed Terms.
Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
