About
Riakiberu Factory is located in Kamacharia, Murang’a County, Kenya, where red volcanic soils, favorable rainfall, and moderate temperatures create ideal conditions for growing high-quality coffee, primarily SL28 alongside Batian and Ruiru 11. Ripe cherries are handpicked and traditionally washed, undergoing fermentation before being washed and dried on raised African beds for up to 22 days. The factory also supports farmers through sustainable agriculture training and environmental initiatives, including tree planting, wastewater management, and intercropping to promote biodiversity and long-term farm sustainability.
