About
After his Navy service, Eduardo returned to his father's seven-hectare plantation to take over the family business. He spotted the plantation's potential at a local cooperative cupping, where he tasted his own coffee alongside several other batches. He and his father later took coffee-tasting and roasting courses, taking quality control into their own hands. The farm now also grows special varieties such as Chiroso, which won first place in a local producer competition.

FAQ

What grind size should I use for El Ruiseñor?

Grind size depends on your grinder, so there is no single number. Tazzina translates the community grind to your exact grinder, or guides you to it by taste.

How do I dial in El Ruiseñor?

Save a brew for your grinder and brew method, then tell Tazzina how it tasted. It walks you through what to change next, one step at a time.

Can I brew El Ruiseñor on any brew method?

Yes. Tazzina saves each one separately, so every brew method and grinder you pair with El Ruiseñor keeps its own brew, from espresso to pour-over.

What is Tazzina?

Tazzina is a free iPhone and iPad app for coffee. Save a brew for every bean, grinder, and brew method, dial it in with guided steps, and repeat the cups you love.
