About
Elbgold's house bar espresso, rooted in its first roastery at Mühlenkamp 6a. A blend of Guatemala (Caturra, washed; Los Santos, Luis Pedro Zelaya Zamora), El Salvador (Bourbon, honey; San Antonio, Guillen family) and Ethiopia (Heirloom, washed; Ayla Bombe, Faysel A. Yonis). Creamy and nutty like a nougat praline, with chocolate depth and a hint of peach; round and balanced, especially in milk.

FAQ

Is Sechs A a blend?

Yes. Sechs A is a blend from Elbgold, not a single origin.

What does Sechs A taste like?

Elbgold lists chocolate, hazelnut and peach.

How do I brew Sechs A?

Start at 1:2 for espresso or 1:16 for pour-over. Brew it at 92°C (198°F). Grind depends on your grinder, so there is no single number: Tazzina translates the community grind to your grinder, or guides you to it by taste.

What is Tazzina?

Tazzina is a free iPhone and iPad app for coffee. Save a brew for every bean, grinder, and brew method, dial it in with guided steps, and repeat the cups you love.
